Fawole Ibukun James: Passionate About Chess

Fawole Ibukun James born 1992, is a great supporter and lover of Chess. He is brother to 2013 Nigeria National Chess Champion -Fawole John Oyeyemi. He helped in Co-establishing BruvsChess Media- a chess Media company that does everything Chess; ranging from Chess News and information, advocacy, pedagogy, Advancement, Branding and Sponsorships
Fawole Ibukun James was born in the ancient city of Ile-Ife in Osun state on 1st May, 1992 to Chief (Engr.) Oduola Wole Fawole (JP) and Mrs. Elizabeth Adeyebi Fawole.

Ibukun grew up in Ile-Ife, he attended Obafemi Awolowo University staff school and afterwards proceeded to Ambassadors College secondary school.
While in primary school, Ibukun developed love for chess after watching his brother John Oyeyemi Fawole play, he started learning in 1999 how to perfect his love for the game and knew he could apply chess strategies to real life situations.
Fawole studied political science at the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife.
 
In 2018, he contested at the Chess Heights North Central tournament.
Ibukun helped in organizing Summer Chess League Abuja, 2018 & 2019. Currently, he contributes his journals to Bruvschess Media and holds the position Publisher.
Bruvschess Media is run by professional chess players and chess loving enthusiasts who report chess news information, and branding.
With his love for chess, Ibukun is the brain behind Chess and Celebrity, a chess program for celebrities who play chess Nigeria and all around the world.
